UPowr launches first consumer brand campaign

One of the key insights to come out of our own user research, complimented by the insights derived from the ARENA-backed DER report, is that we Aussies are incredibly climate conscious. 

We’re all keen to do our bit to leave the world better, cleaner and greener for future generations - and the best place to take action is in the home.

According to Greenwire, the average Australian household generates approximately 14 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions. That makes us the largest household emitters in the world. 

Around 56% of household emissions are produced by appliances, heating, cooling and cooking - activities that draw from fossil-fuel-based energy. 

By making the switch to solar, and consuming the clean energy we generate, we can radically reduce our household carbon footprint. 

Until now, marketing solar was all about price, price, price.

But we know that’s not what motivates Australians. 

Investing in clean energy is an investment in our homes, our children, our future. So we broke the industry mold with this campaign to let folks know that if they are a homeowner, they can make a massive difference simply by going solar.
